What is / makes Creative Commons (CC)? Writers, musicians, composers, photographers and designers had been a few choices to regulate the usage rights to their works differentiated. Any creative work is automatically protected, whether the creators need protection or not. Creative Commons would like to encourage as many information producers to make their works available to the public. Existing content should be used more easily, on that basis will in turn create new things.
To achieve this represents, Creative Commons license a range of simple models. It allows all People, texts, pictures, music publishing on the Web to determine for themselves whether their works being copied, modified or sold.
The head of the Austrian-CC Working Group, Mag Georg Pleger, will present Creative Commons. The event is part of the elective module "Online Publishing" held on course information professionals (partly in English).
